Celtic captain Callum McGregor has lauded how Matt O’Riley has dealt with the current transfer speculation surrounding him.

Latest reports have stated that no agreement has been reached, but that talks remain ongoing as Brighton and Hove Albion look to bring the attacking midfielder to the south coast.
Talk of a Parkhead exit for O’Riley has been ongoing throughout the summer, but the 23-year-old has not let it impact him in any manner.
On the pitch, his performances have remained at a high level, and his skipper has praised his attitude to the impending speculation.
“He’s been great”, McGregor told CeltsAreHere.
“He’s been fantastic for us.
“We’ve had a couple of chats, but to be honest he’s been fantastic in the way he’s dealt with it.
“He’s treated everyone with respect and the way that he’s trained and played has shown that as well.
“Whatever happens will happen.”
With a week remaining in the transfer window, it remains to be seen whether O’Riley will be a Celtic player come the end of it.
He is a wanted man but remains fully focused ahead of this weekend’s trip to St. Mirren.
O’Riley trained this morning and he will likely be in the squad that heads to Paisley.
