Celtic captain Callum McGregor has issued a rallying call to his teammates as they aim to go one better than last season’s double by securing a coveted domestic treble.

Under the management of Ange Postecoglou, the Bhoys clinched their eighth treble in club history before his departure. Brendan Rodgers, who returned to the helm, led the team to Scottish Premiership and Scottish Cup victories but fell short in the League Cup.
McGregor, who stands out as the only player globally to have clinched five trebles, is hungry for more silverware. With 22 trophies from nine seasons at Celtic under his belt, the skipper is far from satisfied. He’s hungry for more.
Speaking to the Celtic View, he expressed his ambition for the upcoming season: “Once we come back for pre-season, the remit will be to try and get three more. So that’s where we are, that’s what the club demands. It’s in the DNA of the club now and let’s see if we can go and get more next season.”
The Celtic leader’s words show the winning mentality instilled within the club and the high standard he sets along with the other winners in the squad.
But it’s not all about domestic success for Celtic this season. Fans are keen to see Celtic make a push in Europe, after a decade of underperforming and underachieving.
