CALLUM MCGREGOR has admitted he’s more than happy to walk away with a point in the Glasgow Derby after the second-half showing from his side.

Celtic found themselves ahead early in the match and were the better side for the next twenty minutes. But after a mistake at the back led Rangers to install belief in themselves, they fell out of the game and started losing control.
At one point, when Rangers were in the lead, it looked as if Celtic’s gap at the top of the table would decrease. However, the team showed great mentality as the hunted for an equalizer, with Kyogo getting on the scoresheet for the first time against the Rangers.
Speaking live on Sky Sports After the match, the Celtic captain Callum McGregor said:
“I thought we did well the first 20-25 minutes. We got an early goal and you could see the atmosphere in the place. We were dominating the game and let them back in the game with something slack. When you do that against a decent team then you give them a chance in the game. We did not start the second half well and performance levels were not at our best but to come out of here with a point after that, we are delighted with that.”
Celtic only hit the target twice and scored twice. They were clinical, but they did lack creativity in the final third. It was a fair result, but Celtic could’ve easily walked away with all three points and a larger lead at the top of the table.
