Callum McGregor was back in training with Celtic on Monday morning with the rest of the Celtic squad.
The bhoys were out through their paces at Celtic’s training base on the outskirts of Glasgow before flying off to Austria.
The bhoys are set to embark on a very intense pre-season camp under Ange Postecoglou as they get ready for what could be a memorable season.
Callum and the rest of the international bhoys are back in the fold and while the pre-season camp is there to get the bhoys up to speed, Callum McGregor reminded us it’s not just about what goes on during training.
Speaking to Celtic TV, the Celtic captain noted the importance of the team living together in close quarters for the duration of the camp and the chance to become a closer knit unit.
Celtic players bond got stronger throughout last season. Playing with their backs against the wall with everyone writing them off gave them a real siege mentality that ultimately paid off.
We can’t wait to see the bhoys back in action. They play on Wednesday against Weiner Viktoria.
