Rangers manager Philippe Clement has come under fire for inaccurately reporting match stats following his team’s defeat to Celtic at Hampden Park.

The Scottish Cup final, which ended in a dramatic 90th-minute goal by Celtic’s Adam Idah, also concluded Celtic’s successful pursuit of a domestic double.
During a post-match interview with Sky Sports, Clement claimed, “We got two shots on target [against], we got a goal and created six shots on target.”
However, official match statistics contradict his statement, showing that both teams had an equal number of shots on target, with four each. [BBC]
Celtic clinched the victory after Jack Butland parried a shot from Paulo Bernardo, allowing Idah to seize the moment and score the decisive goal.
This season has been particularly challenging for Clement, with this defeat marking his third loss and one draw against Celtic since his tenure began. His team’s inability to secure a win against Celtic throughout the season seems to have led to him lying and making up stats that suit his agenda.
