CHRIS SUTTON has followed up yesterday’s post about his personal phone number being made available online. The former Celtic striker confirmed he had given his phone to his seven-year-old daughter for a sleepover and she saw a lot of vile abuse coming in on the phone as a result of his number being leaked.
The Englishman has rightfully condemned the idiots who gave out his number and the subsequent morons who thought it was ok to send him vile abuse.
Chris has very tough skin and he regularly takes abuse on social media. However, taking someone’s personal number and using it to attack them is beyond the realms of acceptable conduct but in the world that we live in, the bile spewing from certain quarters is shocking.
The pondlife on social media have tried to discount and justify what’s gone on here as they do but Chris made it clear it’s totally unacceptable.
Much justification that it’s ok to share people’s private details and call, harass and abuse… I’m entitled to let my children use my phone and I don’t expect through WhatsApp, text or calls for my family to be abused on a private number! Call me what you like on Twitter…
