CELTIC have not been in the Champions League for two seasons in a row now but when we do get there we can cause some upsets.
BT Sport reminded everybody of this fact as they hyped the competition and the English clubs participation in it this year.
Pep Guardiola was the focus as Man City took on Atalanta at the Etihad with BT Sports throwing up a rather impressive fact.

Now there’s a stat. Pepe had two bites at the cherry against Celtic during Brendan Rodgers first season in charge of Celtic. On a memorable night at Celtic Park the game ended 3-3 in a pulsating encounter with the English side.
When we got to the game at the Etihad there wasn’t much to play for but it would be Man City loan bhoy Patrick Roberts who gave his parent club a bloody nose by scoring at the Etihad. That game would end 1-1.
Pep has done many things in football but beating Celtic isn’t one of them.
