Broony Burn – How The Celtic Captain Helps Keep Your Feet On The Ground (Video)

The Celtic squad are quite rightly in high spirits, top of the league and guaranteed European football in the new year. One player when he is not playing and who is constantly grinning from ear to ear is Jeremie Frimpong.

The young defender has been an unexpected breath of fresh air since his inclusion in the first team. Despite been a wing-back, he is the player that is getting fans up off their seats every time he is on the ball.

He arguably played his best game in Hoops yesterday, turning Livingston players inside out and embarrassing them with his strength despite his deceivingly small stature. He was an easy man of the match winner but Scott Brown jokingly kept the young Belgians feet on the ground.

The interviewer did a good job of defending young Jeremie by reminding the Celtic captain about a few deflected goals he has under his belt. It is great to see Celtic players playing with smiles on their faces at a crucial part of the season.
