Known for his wittiness and distinct demeanour in press conferences, former Celtic manager Ange Postecoglou made a brilliant remark about VAR recently.
The Aussie gaffer is very much against the technology and understandably so. It has negatively impacted his Tottenham team this campaign and back at Celtic, it has also been a major talking point.

The SFA yesterday revealed that the Hoops have supposedly had just one wrong VAR call since the mid-season review but fans would argue against such a finding.
Given the controversy surrounding it and how much it slows down games – particularly in Scotland – the majority of fans wouldn’t be against getting rid of VAR.
Indeed, Postecoglou was asked about Sweden’s situation, where they have just voted against bringing it in. He smartly responded, instantly quipping “I’m moving there!” (Sky Sports).
Although VAR can be useful as is regularly shown in competitions like the Euros and Champions League, in Scotland, it has proved to be a stumbling block in the making of quick, effective, and accurate decisions.
Whether we like it or not, though, it is here to stay and will resultantly produce continual controversy.
