CELTIC gave supporters every reason to be cheerful on Thursday night with their top performance against Cluj in the Europa League.

Celtic breezed past their Group E opponents to go top of the league table on the night. Goals from Odsonne Edouard and Mohammed Elyounoussi gave Celtic all three points in the end and sent everyone home happy.

Eagle-eyed supporters watching from home noticed one fan in the crowd was so happy he had a wee drink to the bhoys from the stands.

He even gives a wee nod to the camera.

It was a night where most things went right for the bhoys. The team looked much better prepared than they did in August and were rarely wasteful in possession. Stand out performances from Boli Bolingoli and Elyounoussi have Celtic fans purring but the old guard like James Forrest and Callum McGregor were similarly impressive on the night.
