Brilliant Brendan Rodgers Stat Emerges After Kilmarnock Win

Celtic were victorious in the east end of Glasgow on Saturday. Reo Hatate, Luis Palma, and Greg Taylor all scored in a deserved 3-1 victory over Kilmarnock.

In the match, the Hoops put in an admirable performance. It was arguably one of their best of the season so far, and an incredible Brendan Rodgers stat has emerged after the game.

Indeed the win that sent the Bhoys seven and ten points clear of St. Mirren and Rangers alike was the 700th match gaffer Rodgers had managed in in his career.

This is an impressive fact and a testament to the top level of the Irishman. Being a football manager is never easy but to have stayed in a job and taken charge of shy of a thousand games is phenomenal.

At fifty years of age, one imagines Rodgers is nowhere near the end of his career despite having managed in countless matches. He has lots more to give to Celtic throughout the remainder of his working years.
