Celtic take on FC Midtjylland on Tuesday evening at Celtic Park.
One man who won’t be playing in the game is Kristoffer Ajer – the Norwegian has not been named in the squad to play the Danish side and MailSport confirmed at the weekend the defender was closing in on a move to Brentford. The deal is not complete but it’s thought that’s why Ajer will not feature this evening or in the second leg tie.
Midtjylland have also been weakened by Brentford this afternoon – the Premier League side have confirmed the signing of the Danish club’s international midfielder Frank Onyeka. Brentford confirmed the deal this morning on their official page.

The English side have had an inadvertent say in tonight’s proceedings at Celtic Park.
Ajer and Onyeka would have both started the match had their heads not been turned. Both teams will have to do without top players as they try to navigate through to the third round of the Champions League.
Both clubs don’t have their problems to seek and the tie on the night is going to be very interesting.
Celtic fans have no idea what Ange is thinking when it comes to his starting XI selection. We’re hours away from finding out what the manager is planning.
