Lowe, who managed Preston through 125 matches and narrowly missed out on the Championship playoffs last season, joined Celtic’s session as a special guest.

Lowe observed how Rodgers and his staff are preparing for tomorrow’s top-of-the-table clash against Aberdeen, a fixture that sees both teams aiming to protect their unbeaten Premiership starts. [SunSport]

The visit provided Lowe with a chance to gain insight into the workings of a top-level team as he considers his next steps in management.

Meanwhile, in terms of Celtic team news, there were some notable updates. Alistair Johnston, Cameron Carter-Vickers, and James Forrest all participated in training, giving Rodgers a boost ahead of the crucial match. However, Greg Taylor was absent, potentially confirming his unavailability for the game, with Alex Valle likely to step in at left-back.

Lowe’s visit comes at an exciting time for Celtic, with tomorrow’s match against a high-flying Aberdeen side set to be a great encounter.

The sides will meet again in the coming weeks but in the Cup. The Dons meet Rodgers’ side in the semi-final of the League Cup on November 2nd.
