It is almost a week since Brendan Rodgers was appointed manager of Celtic and the time has flown by.

Almost all supporters are happy with the 50 year old’s appointment although he may not have even taken the job in the first place after it came out he was interviewed at another club prior to returning to Glasgow.

Reported by The Times, Crystal Palace interviewed Brendan Rodgers although they decided against appointing him.

This appears to have been a sliding doors moment and it would’ve been interesting to see what Rodgers would have done had he been offered the job.

Nevertheless, this is nothing to worry about anymore and it is full steam ahead going into the 2023/24 season for Rodgers and his men.

The aim for the upcoming campaign will undoubtedly be to complete yet another domestic clean sweep and progress in Europe.

It is set to be an exciting season for all Hoops fans and it is not long till things get going.
