Celtic manager Brendan Rodgers has had his say on the Hoops’ 0-0 draw against Dinamo Zagreb in the Champions League this evening.
In a game which lacked the spark that so many of Celtic’s matches have had this season, the Bhoys just couldn’t find their usual killer instinct in the final third, with Rodgers himself touching on this post-match.
He said: (BBC Sport), “That’s my honest answer on it, yes, we needed to do more.
“It was an opportunity for us but you have to show a little bit more in those moments.”

In all honesty, could Rodgers have done much differently? He went with the side most would have anticipated, and in the second half, he made changes after the hour mark to try to shift the game in Celtic’s favour.
He is often a mastermind in changing games, whether it be his halftime team talks or in-game adjustments, but this evening it just seemed like a number of players were off it.
For all the impressive performances throughout the season so far, things do seem to have tailed off ever so slightly, performance-wise.
Rodgers will look to address this in training over the coming days. With the Rangers in the Premier Sports Cup final on Sunday, players will be fighting for a starting spot, and with the balance in midfield and up front dropping off recently, the Irishman may look to make changes against Philippe Clement’s side.
