CeltsAreHere was in attendance at Friday’s Lennoxtown press conference to speak to the Celtic manager, Brendan Rodgers, ahead of this weekend’s tie against Hearts.
The bhoys face the Edinburgh club on Sunday afternoon live on Sky Sports, ahead of that game, the Celtic manager was asked about one of his injured stars, Liel Abada.
Liel was seen visiting Celtic Park in crutches last week amid the tensions and ongoing war in the Middle East. Given the Green brigade’s banner in support of Palestine and the resulting fallout where some have suggested Liel should leave Celtic, Brendan put an end to that.

The Celtic manager revealed the winger is having a tough time, but the pair went out for dinner during the international break and he’ll be fine. Rodgers reiterated Liel will be ready to pull on a Celtic jersey again in December.
In his absence, Luis Palam is beginning to get more minutes on the wing with Maeda playing on the right, Liel’s preferred position.
There’s no doubt Abada can have a big impact on this season, but an unfortunate injury means he has to bide his time.
