While the Celtic players celebrated their Scottish Premiership title win in a city centre bar, manager Brendan Rodgers chose a more subdued way to mark the occasion.

After securing a resounding 5-0 victory over Kilmarnock, which confirmed their status as champions, Rodgers opted for a quiet evening, reflecting on the game’s pivotal moments from the comfort of his home.
Unlike the scenes in Glasgow’s city centre where players were seen revelling at Wunderbar—a popular local spot—Rodgers returned home for a more reflective celebration.
“I had a couple of wee drinks afterwards, went home, watched the game again and went to bed at about twenty-to-four. A long night but a great night,” Rodgers recounted to Celtic TV.
The team’s return to Celtic Park also saw significant fanfare. Thousands of supporters gathered on the Celtic Way to welcome the team, with the club setting up a stage and fireworks to commemorate the occasion. Several players took the opportunity to address the crowd.
The festivities are set to continue into Saturday, with Celtic scheduled to officially lift the Premiership trophy. Further celebrations will take place in the merchant city, where fans will gather to celebrate the team’s achievement.
