Brendan Rodgers Reveals Heart to Heart with Celtic Star

Brendan Rodgers has opened up about meaningful discussions with Celtic winger Liel Abada, assuring fans that Abada sees his future with Celtic.

The Celtic boss is confident that the Israeli is content at the club, despite recent challenges linked to the harrowing situation in Palestine. Abada, who recently made a comeback from injury, has shown his mettle to bounce back from a bad injury setback and is now ready to make an impact for the bhoys.

The Celtic fans support for Palestine has sparked debates about Abada’s place in Glasgow, but most of those comments have come from Israeli coaches and players.

Rodgers acknowledges the tough phase in Abada’s career and has been a pillar of support for the 22-year-old. He firmly believes that Abada is settled and poised to make significant contributions to Celtic’s pursuit of their third straight Premiership crown.

Rodgers told Record Sport, “Liel’s in a very good place now. It was a challenging time for him when he was out, with everything happening in his country. It’s been about getting him minutes on the pitch.

“But he’s another player who will be big for us. It’s a situation as a manager where, if you care, you need to communicate with the player. You just try to understand and have empathy with the situation.

“He’s a very young guy so he needs help and support. I’m obviously there for him. You’ll never be the player’s best friend but there are times when you have to show that side which gives them a bit of comfort and confidence to keep going. He’s settled and happy here now.”

Rodgers’ sentiment reflects a deep-seated commitment to nurturing talent and fostering a supportive environment, reinforcing Celtic’s reputation as a club that truly cares for its players.
