BRENDAN RODGERS believes Lewis Morgan will choose to link up with his old St Mirren boss Jack Ross at Sunderland after the player was given the option of both Aberdeen and the Stadium of Light club.

The midfielder has found himself on the outside looking in with regards to the Celtic first team and now must go out on loan to prove he can make the grade, improve and then come back to Celtic a better player.

Rodgers also confirmed Jack Hendry is set to be loaned out and the ultimate decision of where the defender goes will be up to the player and his reps.

With regards to transfers into the club, Brendan Rodgers revealed a medical has taken place and the deal will be done.

When prompted about any more deals in before Thursday deadline, the manager wouldn’t rule anything out at this stage.
