Brendan Rodgers celebrated his 10th major honour as Celtic manager after watching his side sweep to a fourth consecutive Premiership title with a commanding win over Dundee United.

The Northern Irishman now sits behind only Jock Stein and Willie Maley in the list of the most decorated managers in the club’s history, further cementing his legacy at Parkhead.
And speaking after the 5-0 victory at Tannadice, Rodgers was quick to praise the consistency and mentality of his players across a campaign where Celtic have once again proven themselves as the dominant force in Scottish football.
“It’s been fantastic,” Rodgers said live in Sky Sports. “I think obviously leading into this game there was a little bit of negativity around the league and no competition, but we can only concentrate on ourselves. These players here have been unbelievable in their mentality every day and took that into the games. When they had to step up, they stepped up like today. So it’s been an absolutely brilliant season for us in the league. It’s been relentless on four fronts.”
Celtic’s latest title triumph sees them notch up 13 league wins in the last 14 seasons, a period of dominance rarely matched in the modern game. Rodgers’ comments reflect not only satisfaction but also the ongoing drive within the squad to maintain their high standards, despite outside noise questioning the competitive balance of the league.
The focus now turns to finishing the season strongly and potentially adding further silverware, with the Scottish Cup final against Aberdeen still to come. But for Rodgers, this title win stands out as another testament to the resilience and hunger of his team — a group that, in his words, has remained “relentless.”
