BRENDAN RODGERS was asked about Steven Gerrard’s Ibrox appointment at today’s press conference and the Celtic manager kept it light.
The Irishman spoke of it being great for the Scottish game and that Steven will love it up here.
However, he was also keen to stress that it’s not an easy job, and that’s coming from a guy who has only lost a handful of games since joining Celtic.
The pressure involved leads to a lot of sleepless nights, Rodgers warned.
🗣️ BR on Steven Gerrard becoming a manager: "Welcome to the land of no sleep! His role will be to make it work, my job is to try and make sure it doesn't."
More from the manager on @CelticTV and https://t.co/00fJCijgWx later today.
