BRENDAN RODGERS has given Celtic fans an update on what he’s thinking with regards to Osdonne Edouard.
The Irishman, who praised the young French star late last year when he bagged a stunning Celtic Park hattrick has been more reserved when it comes to signing Osdonne up permanently.
Speaking from Dubai, Rodgers admitted he’s in no hurry.
“I will assess it at the end of the season. There’s no rush.
“It’s for both sides as well – he might love it with us, he might not.
“I know he is really enjoying it but there is no rush to commit on either side now.
“It’s a case of seeing how it goes in the second half of the season and we will review it then.
Osdonne had a buy-out clause of around £7million, which seems a hefty fee for Celtic to pay for someone who hasn’t seen a lot of game time thus far.
