Brendan Rodgers has been nominated for the PFA Scotland Manager of the Year for the 2024/25 season, alongside former Celtic scout John McGlynn and Hibs boss David Gray. Despite being snubbed last season, Rodgers is rightly on the shortlist this year, having already secured a domestic double and taken Celtic to the Champions League knockouts.
The Manager of the Year award is voted for by fellow managers, showing that Rodgers has clearly earned the respect of his peers after his success this season, with the chance to win the treble against Aberdeen in the Scottish Cup final next month.

It seems a no-brainer that Rodgers will win the award given the success he’s had at Celtic this season. David Gray also deserves praise for taking Hibs from the brink of the sack to third in the league currently.
The same can be said for John McGlynn, with Falkirk having just been promoted to the Championship after winning League One last year. They are now on the verge of promotion to the Premiership with one game remaining in a brilliant season for McGlynn.

There were doubts from a small minority over what Rodgers would do in his second spell at Celtic. Historically, it hasn’t ended well for former Celtic bosses in their second spells.
However, Rodgers has silenced those worries in style this season, one that will be remembered for years to come if the Hoops win the treble next month.
