Brendan Rodgers Names First Celtic Starting XI Since Return

Brendan Rodgers is first Celtic starting XI back as Hoops manager, four years after he departed the club.

Celtic take on Yokohama at 11am UK time and it’s the first chance the fans will get to see the team since the bhoys clinched a treble back at the beginning of June.

A lot has changed since then, Ange Postecoglou and Jota have left the building since then while Brendan has come in. We have made a couple of signings so far, with only Odin Holm being in a position to make his debut – although he hasn’t made the squad. Marco Tilio is currently injured.

With it all being about match fitness at this point, we can expect wholesale changes throughout the game.

However, here is today’s Celtic starting XI:

It’s a strong side, although there’s no fit right back in the squad at the moment.

The home side will get to see the two former bhoys Maeda, and Iwata start the match.

COYBIG!

The game is live on Celtic TV to all UK Subscribers.
