Brendan Rodgers Has Big Decision Ahead of Crunch Tie

It would seem unfathomable just three weeks ago, but Brendan Rodgers has a big decision to make ahead of the crunch tie with Hibernian on Saturday.

Celtic won a whopping 6-0 in their last SPFL outing against St Johnstone with the team clicking properly for the first time this season to deadly effect.

Before the break Scott Brown was out injured for both the Salzburg and St Johnstone game and while the Scotsman was missed for the disappointment in Austria, the same can’t be said for the match in Perth.

So will Brendan Rodgers go with an unchanged side against Hibs and leave Scott Brown out the starting I or is he simply too valuable and needed in a game where Hibs are likely to give as good as they get?

St Johnstone tried to sit in, like may clubs this season and frustrate Celtic but that’s not usually Hibs’ motivation, and they’re likely to attack Celtic whenever possible.

Can the team that ran riot in Perth do the same against Hibs given the chance?

That is the big question facing Brendan Rodgers as he welcomes his international stars back to Lennoxtown.
