Celtic manager Brendan Rodgers has provided an update on the injury scare concerning Alistair Johnston, who was forced off during the match against Hibernian.

Johnston’s injury raised concerns of a possible concussion after a powerful clearance from Rocky Bushiri struck him in the face at close range.
In the first half of the game, Alistair Johnston found himself in a difficult situation as a clearance by Rocky Bushiri clattered into his face from a mere two yards away. The impact left him visibly dazed and in discomfort, prompting immediate medical attention.
After a thorough examination by the medical staff, Johnston was allowed to continue playing. However, after he sat down moments later, he was eventually substituted and replaced by Anthony Ralston. The sequence of events had initially sparked worries that the full-back might have suffered a concussion.
To ease concerns about the extent of Johnston’s injury, Brendan Rodgers spoke with the medical team. He shared reassuring news with the BBC, stating, “I just spoke to the medical team, and they said he’s fine. It was just at that moment he felt a wee bit funny. I think overall he’s fine.”
