Dundee United have rejected bids for both Gary MacKay Steven and Stuart Armstrong after Celtic tested their resolve this morning.

Celtic have already signed Gary on a pre-contract agreement but would like to get him in this window if possible. Deila is also desperate to land Armstrong but the bid has not met United’s valuation as of yet.

It’s believed that they offered in the region of £1.6million for Armstrong and 150k for MacKay Steven.

Deadline Day is just getting started and deals are still very possible before the end of play today.
