DEDRYCK BOYATA has posted a farewell message and video to the Celtic fans on his instagram as he gets prepared to leave Glasgow in the coming weeks.
The defender is swapping Scotland for Germany with his move to Hertha Berlin confirmed a week before the season ended.
The player who was signed by Ronny Deila from Manchester City has had his ups and downs in a Celtic jersey and his Parkhead career looked over when Brendan Rodgers came into the club.
However, the Irishman would resurrect the Belgian’s career when he brought him back into the fold during a bitterly cold afternoon playing Albion Rovers in the Scottish Cup. The player then kicked on from there and became part of Rodgers side.
Boyata did so well he was called up to the Belgium squad for the World Cup and helped them place third! The defender played all the group games in the competition with Vincent Kompany out with an injury.
He now moves onto a new challenge and has posted this video on the way out the door.
