Bolo Mbombo has touched down in Glasgow Officially after a picture earlier in the day appeared to have shown him already at Celtic Park. There is no doubt he’s here now!
Official confirmation came in the way of Record Sport who has released a picture of the player at Glasgow airport as he now gets set to conclude a deal with Celtic.
Mbombo would be Celtic’s third summer signing if the deal goes through. The Rapid Vienna winger has already made a trip to Glasgow in the past year being part of the squad that helped knock The Rangers out of the Europa League.
Neil Lennon is looking to get deals done as early as possible and with two in quick succession last week with Christopher Jullien and Luca Connell – it looks likes Mbombo could be next.
With the player’s natural position at left back, it does raise question marks over Kieran Tierney’s future. However, the bhoys have been desperate for cover in this position since Izzy left this summer.
