Celtic central defender Carl Starfelt is on the verge of a move to Spanish La Liga side Celta Vigo. Brendan Rodgers admitted post-match against Ross County on Saturday that the Swedish international’s move is far down the line and now, the player’s dentist has added further fuel to the fire.
On Instagram, Lenzie based dentist Dr. Jonathan Fitzpatrick posted a story practically confirming Starfelt’s move away.
Fitzpatrick posted a picture of himself and the 28-year-old in his practice, captioning it with ‘All the best in’ and a Spain flag emoji:
It is bizarre that Starfelt’s dentist of all people has confirmed his departure. The defender was clearly one of Fitzpatrick’s favoured clients and it doesn’t look like he will be heading back to Lenzie to get his teeth seen to any time soon as Vigo will be his new home imminently.
The treble-winning centre half will need to find a new dentist now!
