Celtic concluded their Scottish Premiership campaign in victorious fashion with a 3-2 win over St Mirren at Parkhead, where the team celebrated their title success post-match.

Matt O’Riley and Kyogo Furuhashi, along with forward Luis Palma, scored the goals that secured Celtic’s victory, bringing their season points total to a commanding 93, eight points clear of second place.
Liam Scales shared his reflections on what has been a transformative year for him personally. Having transitioned from a peripheral role last summer to playing almost every minute this season, Scales has solidified his position as a key player under manager Brendan Rodgers.
In a post-match interview with Sky Sports, the Republic of Ireland international opened up about his experiences over the past year.
“The consistency has been brilliant, just to be in the team constantly and performing, it’s what I needed and it when I’m at my best I suppose, when I’m playing regularly. It’s been the best year, the best season of my life and I’m buzzing.”
Whether you rate Scales or don’t, you can’t help but be over the moon for him. He’s done extremely well to fight for a place in the team, tie it down and win a 4-year deal with the club.
Although, saying that, you’d expect Celtic to bring in some better quality in central defence for next season.
