Celtic ended Rangers’ season this afternoon with a 1-0 win at Hampden in the Scottish Cup semi final.
Jota’s goal just before half time proved decisive and helped the Hoops into the final and a resultant treble.
After the game, Ibrox gaffer Michael Beale came out and basically conceded the league title.
He said on Viaplay Sports:
“We’re playing against a team who have won two trophies to our zero this year.”
Obviously, Celtic have only won one trophy in 2023 in the league cup.
Although the Bhoys are 13 points clear at the top of the Scottish Premiership, the title is not yet officially won yet Beale’s comments suggest that is what is ingrained in his mind.
As well as the league and league cup, it also looks like the Bhoys are on for the Scottish Cup.
The Hoops are due to face Inverness in the final at the beginning June as they seek a world record eighth domestic treble.
