CELTIC have been charged by UEFA over ‘illicit banners’ during their win against Lazio on match day three of the Europa League. On the night, Celtic fans made it clear there was no room for fascism at Celtic Park.
The Lazio fans who had been seen during the day in and around Glasgow displaying nazi salutes were treated to some cutting banners by the Celtic support.
One of the banners on the night depicted evil dictator Mussolini hanging upside down with the words ‘follow your leader’.
This has got Celtic into trouble with UEFA and now the organisation will punish a club for being anti-fascists.
If that wasn’t bad enough – the reporting of this charge by top BBC reporter Chris McLaughlin is so ridiculous you would’ve think someone has hacked his Twitter account.
McLaughlin describes Benito Mussolini as an ‘Italian wartime leader’ as he addressed the UEFA charge. An ITALIAN WARTIME LEADER. Much like Adolf Hitler was a German Wartime leader.
