Speculation of Kieran Tierney to Arsenal has intensified over the weekend after it was reported Arsenal had a bid rejected for the Celtic star.
Most Celtic fans are semi-confident if it came down to the player’s choice then Kieran wouldn’t move this summer but there’s an air of doubt at the moment and it stems from the club.
We are a selling club, we all know that’s the way Celtic operate. Everybody has their price and Celtic fans know this – even Kieran Tierney.
But with so much on the line over the next two seasons, to sell Kieran for any amount of money will be seen as a soulless cash grab by a board who are skating on thin ice.
It would be fantastic if the club would communicate with fans on the matter if they were confident of Kieran’s stay.
BBC reporter David Ornstein provided an update on the potential deal which would take Tierney from Glasgow to London and it’s a rather depressing read.

David could be making an assumption a lot of clubs who have been interested in Kieran have made. The notion that any Scottish based player would jump without hesitation if the Premier League came calling.
Two seasons away from immortality, a die-hard Celtic fan would want to see that through.
