The usually reliable secret scout on social media has claimed a move to take highly-rated Celtic youngster Barry Hepburn to Bayern Munich is done and dusted.

The deal is set to be complete at the start of August and will be Bayern’s second raid of the Celtic youth academy in as many years.

The German’s landed Liam Morrison from lennoxtown last tear and now Hepburn will join his former Celtic teammate in the German youth set up.

Reports of this move have been circulating since April this year [Read Here] and it now looks like it’s coming to fruition.

Celtic’s youth academy is in increasingly coming under the spotlight with major clubs around Europe looking to grab players from clubs before massive fees are involved.

The youth system is vital for Celtic, players like Cal Mac, James Forrest and Kieran Tierney coming through the ranks to benefit the first team and also earn the club a fortune in the transfer market.
