It has been a long time reported but today it was confirmed by Bayern Munich that they have signed Celtic’s Barry Hepburn.
The youngster becomes the second player poached by the European champions after taking Liam Morrison to Germany last year.
The bhoys academy has attracted interest from the German’s in recent times and they’re strategy to get players at grassroots level is going to be a serious concern to clubs like Celtic going forward.

Hepburn was highly rated in the Celtic camp but you can’t blame him freaking an opportunity of a lifetime at the Bayern academy. Even Lennoxtown pales into comparison to the state of the art facilities they have for their players in Munich.
Celtic need a new focused strategy when it comes to bringing players through. The more we can make our own stars the more players will want to stick about.
