Celtic is preparing for further offers for star midfielder Matt O’Riley following an initial approach from Atletico Madrid.

The Spanish giants have proposed a deal involving a loan move with an obligation to buy in the summer, potentially valuing the total package at around £20 million, according to SunSport.
Despite the lucrative nature of Atletico’s offer, Celtic is poised to reject the bid. It’s not quite the record-breaking fee required to even make Celtic think about selling the player this January.
Celtic is determined to keep hold of O’Riley, who has emerged as a key figure in Brendan Rodgers’ squad and has had a standout season in both domestic and Champions League competitions.
O’Riley’s exceptional form, which includes ten goals and 12 assists in all competitions, has not only caught the eye of Atletico Madrid but also other clubs. Italian giants Inter Milan are keeping tabs on the player, while many EPL clubs are also monitoring the situation closely.
