Another day and another team linked with Stuart Armstrong. It’s inevitable when the player’s contract situation is still up in the air.
Today Fulham have been linked with the Scottish midfielder in what would be somewhat of an intriguing move.
Former Celtic midfielder Stefan Johansen currently plays for The Cottagers; throw Armstrong in the mix and you have a former Celtic duo spearheading a Premier league midfield next season.
Stefan left for Fulham two seasons ago when Brendan Rodgers first took over Celtic, after a promising start to his Celtic career the player looked disinterested towards the end of his time and wanted to leave once Ronny Deila had left the club.

Newly promoted Fulham are looking bolster their squad as they look to avoid the drop in their first year back in the big time.
Like Southampton, they see Armstrong as a relatively inexpensive gamble – even if quotes of £6million are correct.
With players like James Maddison going for over £20million, it would be a no-brainer for any Premier League side looking to do business.
Celtic may still be hopeful of persuading Armstrong his future lies with Celtic – this should be settled sooner rather than later.
