Celtic Reject Approach for Invincible Star

CELTIC have found themselves in a no-win situation with their goalkeeper Craig Gordon as he looks to leave the club this month.

Gordon has been a faithful servant to the club over the past five years but is playing second fiddle to Fraser Forster. The player is in the final six months of his contract and can leave in the summer, however, at 37 he wants to play now.

Neil Lennon and the club will want to do right by Craig at this stage in his career BUT they must not open themselves up to a potential crisis by letting the goalkeeper leave prematurely.

With Forster in goals and Bain not fully fit, Gordon is back up to Fraser and if the Southampton goalkeeper was to sustain an injury it would leave a massive problem for Celtic who sent developmental keeper Conor Hazard back out on loan to Dundee at the weekend.

Recordsport report Celtic have REJECTED a bid from Hearts for Gordon and will not let the player leave this month.
