Celtic have today announced they have signed Anthony Ralston to a new deal.
The defender has turned his Celtic career around this season. If Celtic had a better grasp of their squad during the summer , there was every chance the club would NOT have taken up the option to extend his current deal by a season.
Since the summer, Anthony has taken his chance by proving so many fans, including myself, wrong.
The right back has put in some top performances and regularly leaves everything out on the pitch.
Ralston was given a second chance and he’s not looked back. The defender throughly deserves his new deal. It’s one thing getting the opportunity but you have to take it.
Ange Postecoglou has been thrilled with Anthony’s contributions and has certainly got a big role to play in the rest of the season.
The Hoops announced the deal by posting a GIF of someone behind a brick wall. That’s the perception of Ralston by many, he’d run through brick walls for the team on any given night.
