ANTHONY RALSTON has been named as the best player in the Scottish top flight in a recent post by Whoscored.com. Yes, you read that right!
The right-back was nowhere near the squad last season, but the change of manager saw Anthony Ralston get one more chance to prove his worth to the Celtic team, and is now locked in negotiations over a new contract.
Whoscored.com have looked at the average player ratings across different leagues and the Celtic player led the way in Scotland.

Anthony Ralston has excelled under Ange Postecoglou, proving every Celtic fan wrong while doing so. Ralston has been that impressive this season that new right-back, Josip Juranovic, is being played out of position to accommodate Ralston.
As a result of recent performances, Ralston has even been tipped for the Scotland squad. Although, he does face some tough competition from Stephen O’Donnell, Nathan Patterson and Calvin Ramsay. However, his first call-up can’t be too far away.
