Ange Receives More Praise From Unlikely Source

MARVIN BARTLEY has praised the Celtic manager once more. Over the past few weeks, the Livi assistant manager has been signing the Australian coach’s praises.

This time, the Clyde 1 pundit praised Ange for his commitment to his backroom team. Arriving from the J-League, he never brought any backroom staff with him, opting to stick with what was already at the club.

After the season that had just unfolded, fans were keen to see the back of the team, especially John Kennedy. However, Postecoglou has been the first to point out that they have contributed to this season’s success.

Speaking on Clyde 1 Super Scoreboard, Bartley admired Postecoglou, saying;

“You’ve got to take your hat off to Ange and what he’s done.

“He’s done it all as well, without bringing in any coaches. I know they’ve got fantastic coaching staff at Celtic, but normally when new managers go into a big club, they bring at least 2 or 3 of their own.

“He’s gone there and he’s worked with the backroom staff, and he’s got fantastic results.

“They’re heading in the right direction, 100%.”

In a recent interview with Open Goal, Ange claimed coming to Glasgow by himself didn’t faze him. He knew what he was capable of and believed in himself.

Fair play to the manager, as like most instances this season, he was right.
