Ange Postecoglou’s Major Transfer Decision

ANGE POSTECGOLOU has been given a lot more rope than many other Celtic managers when it comes to player recruitment.

The Hoops gaffer’s involvement in the recruitment last season resulted in a double winning season. He has earned the right to be trusted when it comes to deals.

Twitter can give you a gauge of how people are feeling about a potential incoming. The Aaron Mooy deal has been met with some trepidation. I believe that’s just down to people’s thoughts on the club signing players over 30.

Aaron would be coming to Celtic at the age of 31 and looking to make an impact. Some Celtic fans want to see the youth template where we buy young exciting players, watch them grow and then sell on for a massive profit.

But why can’t we do both? We’ve already brought in CCV, Jota and Alexandro Bernabei who will all likely garner decent fees when the y move on. Why can’t we sign a player the manager knows and trusts.

Journalist Derek McGregor claims Ange had the option of PSG youngster Edouard Michut or Aaron, he’s choosing to sign the Socceroos star.

The players Ange has brought in that he’s known a lot about have been hits.

Aaron is a fantastic player and will add depth to our squad. The manager has reiterated time and time again, Celtic are set to play around 60 games before all is said and done this campaign. He wants us to be in fighting fit shape.

The manager has earned the right to make these types of calls.
