ANGE POSTECOGLOU has said that Celtic must be aggressive in their transfer approach, warning fans that some of their favourites may have to be moved on.

Ange has been ruthless with transfers in the past and has even released prominent figures in previous clubs. He doesn’t shy away from it, doing it with the best intentions for the club.
It’s the second time in two days that the manager has made such a statement, warning fans that it will be unsettling at times, but in order to keep taking steps forward in the Champions League, it has to happen.
Speaking at the Celtic AGM, the Aussie boss said;
“The business and football side is aligned. I’ll make my vision clear. Most of centres around finances. We need to be there every year and keep growing. Our approach has to be aggressive.
“We need to be aggressive and agile in the transfer market.
“We will need to move players around to make gains. We have to maximise our squad to get the greatest revenue from the club. I’m comfortable with that. It will be unsettling for you guys, you’ll have favourite players, but we need to be wise.”
We’ll likely see some departures in the summer, with top clubs already sniffing about some of Celtic’s stars. The manager will likely try to move some deadwood, like James McCarthy, on to create more space on the wage bill.
There’s no room for sentiment under Ange.
