While Celtic have not been raided, with John Kennedy and Gavin Strachan staying at Celtic and joining Brendan Rodgers, the new coaching line-up does feature a familiar face – Chris Davies, the former assistant manager under the Northern Irish gaffer during his first stint in Scotland.
Spurs confirmed the appointments on their website.
Davies, boasting a decorated CV with coaching stints at Swansea City, Liverpool, Celtic, and Leicester City, joins the ranks as Senior Assistant Coach. His experience and understanding of the game will undoubtedly prove an asset to Postecoglou’s managerial approach.
Standing shoulder to shoulder with Davies will be Ryan Mason and Matt Wells, both appointed as Assistant Coaches. Mason’s time as interim charge at the end of last season has already endeared him to the supporters, while Wells’ history as a former Academy player lends an intimate understanding of the club’s ethos.
Adding to this robust team is Mile Jedinak, an Australian legend who captained the national team under Postecoglou. The former Aston Villa and Crystal Palace player, with recent experience as a youth coach and Loan Development Coach at Aston Villa, brings a wealth of Premier League knowledge to the table.
Completing the team is Rob Burch, a product of the Spurs youth set-up, returning to the club as First Team Goalkeeping Coach. Burch, who had a stint as Academy Goalkeeping Coach until 2019, brings with him insights from his coaching roles with the Football Association, Fulham, AFC Bournemouth, and Club Brugge.
