Former Celtic manager Ange Postecoglou is reportedly planning to bring his Premier League side Spurs to Scotland for a pre-season friendly this summer.

This move would mark Postecoglou’s return to Scotland since his departure from Celtic, where he won five trophies and secured a domestic treble before making the move to manage in the Premier League.

Under Postecoglou’s guidance, Tottenham has been undergoing a transformation, adopting the Australian’s hallmark energetic and high-tempo style of play. Currently, after 26 matches, Spurs find themselves within striking distance of a Champions League spot, trailing the team they are chasing, Aston Villa, by just five points with a game in hand.

Alistair Gold, Tottenham correspondent for football.london, revealed on X that Spurs are likely to play a friendly in Scotland as part of their preparations for the next season, before embarking on a three-game tour of Asia in July.

This potential friendly would provide Scottish fans an opportunity to see Postecoglou’s new project at Spurs firsthand.
