Former Celtic boss Ange Postecoglou will face the media for the first time today since leaving Celtic.
His last press conference in front of journalists was the infamous post-treble press conference when the Australian appeared to be settling scores on the way out. Ange said at the time – ‘let’s not beat about the bush here, I was treated as a joke when I got here’. Sitting as a treble wining manager and knowing he was on his way out, he decided to unload a bit and he wasn’t wrong.
Today he will sit as the Spurs manager and talk to mostly the English media, but we have a feeling Celtic will come up during the conference.
Ange will likely be asked about his time at Celtic and even his exit. This won’t be of interest to some fans out there, especially the ones who are bitter over his exit. However, there will be plenty of Celtic fans who will be interested.
Celtic are in a great place and moved swiftly to replace Ange with another high calibre manager in Brendan Rodgers.
The Australian has his work cut out for him in London, but as we witnessed from his start at Celtic, he relishes the overhaul and changing peoples minds.
