Ange Postecoglou Reacts to Celtic Tuesday Double Signing

CELTIC have made it a double signing Tuesday by announcing deals for both Aaron Mooy and Moritz Jenz.

The rumour mill has been abuzz since Saturday evening when Ange Postecoglou claimed Celtic were closing in on two new players.

The Mooy story broke first, but late on Monday evening Moritz Jenz came to the forefront. By Tuesday afternoon, both men have now been confirmed as Celtic Players.

It makes Aaron and Moritz Celtic’s fifth and sixth signing of the transfer window and they could likely be the final two players in unless something interesting comes up for Celtic.

Ange Postecoglou will be glad to get the two deals over the line.

Speaking of the two latest signings, the Celtic manager told Celticfc.com: “I’m delighted that we’ve been able to bring in both Aaron and Moritz to the club, and I’m sure they’ll be great additions to our squad.

“I obviously know Aaron from my time coaching the Australian national team, and he brings with him a wealth of experience at both club and international level.

“Moritz is a player we’ve been aware for a while now, and I’m pleased that we’ve been able to sign him.

Celtic have a game in Poland on Wednesday evening against Legia Warsaw in Artur Boruc’s farewell match.

Both players could make an appearance but given their limited game time and lack of proper pre season under Ange, it might be a few weeks before the players get up to speed.

Celtic have been prompt and swift with their signings this summer and as the season gets ever nearer, the squad is in a great position.
