Celtic’s latest international coaches convention kicked off this week as the club opened its doors to numerous upcoming and aspiring football brains.
Coaches have been invited to Lennoxtown and Celtic’s Barrowfield facility to hear from several of those within the club’s staff and to watch numerous training sessions across different age groups and teams.
Two days of the convention have been completed with students getting a wealth of access for example on Wednesday morning, they got the privilege of taking in a first team training session:

As well as this, there have been many other opportunities for the aspiring coaches, one of which being a talk from the man himself, Ange Postecoglou.
The Australian gave a run through of the principles of Celtic’s football in what would’ve been a fascinating lecture:

It is certain any Celtic supporter would have loved to have been in attendance for such a session.
A lot will be taken from the convention for the upcoming coaches, one intriguing point being that Celtic are mirroring first team principles with the B side and younger age groups in order to make the transition for academy players seamless:

As the years go on, there will be even more Celtic Coaches Conventions.
The events themselves are massive opportunities for aspiring coaches and it is great to see the club opening its doors and providing a unique insight into what goes on that we don’t know of.
