Ange Postecoglou Incredibly Unimpressed With Media Questions

ANGE POSTECOGLOU has questioned BBC’s first question after his Celtic side overcame the Hungarian champions. The three points boost the hopes of European football after Christmas.

The hoops had the defeat of last season looming over them, with fans anxious the result would not be repeated.

When quizzed on whether he felt his team deserved the three points he responded puzzled;

“You don’t think? Funny question to start with. Yeah, well deserved. I don’t think there’s any doubt about that. I think we controlled the game really well right from the start. They’re a good team. They showed it against Leverkusen and Betis. We controlled the first half well. They had to work really had to stifle us but we still created some chances.

Then quizzed again by the BBC about what was described as a ‘quiet game for Kyogo’ he replied

“Definitely must have been a glass half full commentary today”

The question was bizarre, if anything the scoreline flatters the visitors with Celtic missing a penalty along with many chances.

The manager did not adapt his style of play coming into the tie, with the high press leading to the second goal.

Today’s game was not a walk in the park, but the better team came out victorious – Celtic did not need the luck to get all three points.

Celtic face Ferencvaros in the reverse fixture, three points in Hungry would set the team up well before facing Real Betis and Bayer Leverkusen.
